Functions at Mercer's Restaurant

Mercer’s Restaurant caters for all types of functions; from wedding and birthday celebrations to business conferences and seminars.

To individually tailor your event you will have the choice to select from 3 Entrees, 3 Main Courses and 3 Desserts from our current a la carte Menu. We will then create a special Menu for your guests to choose from on the night. The price for this menu is $85.00 per person including savouries on arrival and filter coffee or tea. We expect your function to start no later than 7.30pm. We stop serving alcohol at 11.00pm. 

The food and beverage package will apply to 12 or more guests on Friday and Saturday evenings.

The booking will commence no later than 7.30pm and we expect all guests to arrive on time.
Children's meals (3 to 12 years of age) are served at $35.00 per child including a soft drink per child.
In order to book out the whole Restaurant on a Friday or Saturday evening we expect a minimum of 50 adults and a maximum of 68 adults for a sit down dinner at $122.00 per person for our food and beverage package. All prices quoted include 10% GST.
We start any lunch time function no later than 1.30pm with guests to vacate by 4pm sharp.
Once your function is booked we request a $500 deposit. The rest of the outstanding account is required to be paid by the day of your function.

Terms and Conditions

Mercer's Restaurant provides background music only.
Chair covers, if required, are to be organised by the client.
Dance floor is optional at extra cost to the client.
A $500 deposit is required 30 days before the set function date. The outstanding amount is to be paid by the day of the function.
Final number of guests are to be confirmed no later than 3 days prior to the function, if a guest cancels within 3 days the full charge applies. Please inform us of any dietary requirements no later than one day before your function.
Organisers are financially responsible for any damage sustained to Mercer's Restaurant by the organisers, guests, outside contractors, or other persons attending the function, whether in the restaurant or outside.
Mercer's Restaurant is a non smoking environment and we provide an ashtray on the veranda.
All prices quoted include 10% gst.
Prices quoted are for a 4 hour function only. A charge of $5.00 per Person per half hour (finishing no later than midnight) will occur for any extension of your function time.
Discount cards are not accepted with our function packages.

Please do not throw confetti of any kind in the restaurant or the gardens, or rubbish the gardens in any way.

If, for causes beyond the control of Mercer's Restaurant by reason of fire, flood, damage, industrial dispute or any other reason, the function reserved cannot be made available to the organiser, Mercer's Restaurant will not be held liable for loss, damage or injury whatsoever suffered by the organiser as the result of unavailability of Mercer's Restaurant.
